Description Haley & Aldrich is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Client Leader to support client development and provide technical expertise to expand our Air Quality and Environmental, Health and Safety Management Practice Areas. This presents an excellent opportunity for a senior professional interested in client development while supplying project-level technical leadership.
Requirements •A minimum of 7-12 years of environmental engineering experience
•Strong technical knowledge and experience in New Source Review (NSR); Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD assessments); development of stationary and mobile source emission inventories including greenhouse gas emissions and reporting; Title V permitting; Best Available Control Technology (B ACT) and/or Lower Achievable Emission Rate (LAER) evaluations.
•A minimum of 3 years in project management (e.g., budgeting, staffing, resourcing, client and regulatory interaction)
•Experience with management of subcontractors, scheduling, staff management, and agency negotiations is desired
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Effective interactions with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and internal team members
•A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Process) from a U.S. accredited college or university
•A Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is preferred but not required
•OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training preferred but not required
•Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
• Assist in business development efforts in the Air Quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Practice Areas that build, strengthen and maintain client relationships.
• Develop new opportunities through existing client network.
• Conduct effective staff, client and regulatory agency interactions to successfully complete strategic air quality and environmental projects for a variety of industrial, real estate and institutional clients with complex technical/regulatory issues.
• Provide strong technical support for projects in the areas of regulatory compliance analysis; minor and major source air permitting applications required by NSR, Title V, and state regulations; Part 63 NESHAP requirements; environmental reporting; and environmental compliance auditing.
-Effectively manage project teams across multiple offices with tasks including: Project scoping, costing and proposal preparation; Budget tracking and change management; Resource allocation and project staffing; Subcontractor management; and Invoice review and collections support
• Support existing senior air staff and corporate marketing to build H&A brand within Air Quality and Business Strategy and Compliance service offering.
• Become knowledgeable on other service offerings to support cross selling of those services.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members.
