Description CLARCOR Air Filtration Products, (a PARKER Company), is one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of air filtration products for the commercial, industrial and institutional markets.

We are currently seeking dynamic, hands-on Production Group Leaders for our first and third production shifts! (Bi-lingual Spanish/English is a PLUS!)

Job Summary:

The Production Group Lead will be responsible for the successful operation of our filter assembly lines by assisting the Value Stream Leader with the team to meet established goals for quality, production and efficiency. The group lead will also have the opportunity to work closely with members of our Continuous Improvement department team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Leads by example and reinforces the safety practices and policies.
•Investigates, reports, and communicates all accidents, injuries and near misses.
•Champions the 5S process and ensures standards are maintained for the department.
•Confirms Team Members are trained to the latest revision of Standardized Work.
•Fosters “Continuous Improvement” through coaching and problem solving.
•Leads shift meetings and stretches.
•Supervises the activities of Team Members to meet production schedules and to hold them accountable for their performance.
•Is proactive in resolving problems in the department and escalates the need for assistance as necessary.
•Supports a positive work environment that is free of harassment, discrimination or other unlawful practices.
Requirements Required Skills & Education

•Bilingual/fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred.
•Ability to operate, troubleshoot and make minor adjustments on assembly equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
•Strong PC skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
•Possess above average problem solving abilities.
•Must be able to work without close supervision.
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Prior experience in a lead role in a manufacturing environment.
