*9 month assignment
Storing, identification, issuing, requisitioning, maintaining inventory, receiving, and shipping of all types of materials.
Must count and check material received, sort and distribute in bins, containers or pile in storage areas.
Must assign location for stock.
Must insure that material is tacked or piled properly.
Must fill out material requisitions promptly and accurately, detect defective material, report
shortages or when stock is low.
Must count or direct counting of material to check inventory when stock is low.
Must maintain stock records, shipping and receiving records, and be able to keypunch daily transactions for issues and returns.
Insures that all policies pertaining to receipt, storage, issuing and shipping of materials are adhered to, including upkeep of department records.
Responsible for quality and quantity of work in accordance with departmental requirements.
Observes all plant and departmental safety practices and procedures.
