Title Sales Administrator

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide inside sales support and customer service support to both customers directly and to sales representatives.  This position will support Sales and will act as liaison between customers, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, lab and quality in order to meet the sales objectives EMOE.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external customers by telephone and e-mail to proved lead-time pricing, or investigate issues; and to correct errors in accounts.
  • Working with Producation Planning as necessary
  • Respond expeditiously to Request for Quote (RFQ) with prices and terms.
  • Refer complex inquires to appropriate specialist for assistance.
  • Proactively engage new potential prospects and exchange information with them to uncover opportunities for future growth.
  • Ensure compliance with Sales Policies, ISO Procedures or Work Instructions and EMOE Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain a customer name and address data base.
  • Provide assistance in the development of purchasing contracts with key customers, such as market basket pricing, contract development and review and implementation of contractual activities.
  • Develop and create comprehensive data reports to assist business leaders in making good business decisions.
  • Provide timely feedback/resolution to the customers regarding any and all customer concerns.
  • Manage a team of sales specialists that assist the EMOE Account Managers with project management activites resulting from new sales opportunities at "Top 80" customers.
  • Conduct selling efforts as needed. (House Accounts)
  • Facilitate new processes, tools, commmunications, training, and methodologies to ensure the EMOE sales organization's success, across teams and departments throughout the company.
  • Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives. (Engineering/Quality/EMOE/Customer Service)
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, product management and account management to facilitate new products, product changes and customer notifications. (New Products/Maintenance of Business/Prodect Change Scorecards)
  • Ensure reporting and communications within the EMOE organization is frequent and bi-directional.
  • Facilitate project progress through use of PLM software (AGILE)
  • Support Commercial Change Management Notifications at customer level.
Requirements Required: High School Diploma and/or GED. Related experience and/or training. Customer service experience, time management and organizational skills. Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft office software. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Preferred: Two years of college in Business Management or related field. Inside sales experience, ERP Order Management, Projects and Commercial Terms experience highly preferred. Familiarity with corporate credit and sales policies, a plus.
