PARKER HVAC FILTRATION DIVISION:

Position Summary:
In this newly created role, you will need to understand market needs as you will you will be responsible for developing strategies to increase divisional sales and profits while providing premier customer service to the customers, distributors and field sales professionals. You will support both the Commercial and Industrial segments of our business. The strategies include product development, product lifecycle management, product training, competitor and market analysis (trends, forecasting, pricing, etc.) and partnering with sales to develop target accounts.

Essential Function(s):
• Achieve sales and margin growth objectives of assigned product families
• Lead preparation and execution of marketing and promotional programs for assigned product families.
• Using POP (Parker Operating Principles) develop and execute Product Strategy Roadmaps for assigned core HVAC product families
• Make recommendations, evaluations and priorities on new product opportunities as outlined in the Winovation process to achieve profitable sales volume
• Effectively conduct deep and thorough competitive Product and Market assessments leading to differentiation, branding and value proposition articulation.
• Significant focus on “Voice of Customer” process to develop product and market strategy
• Partner in the development of product pricing strategy (value proposition, strategic pricing etc) paired with our manufacturing strategy
• Develop and present effective product training to field sales, customers and end users
• Support field sales as the Subject Matter Expert on assigned HVAC products and application
• Develop and revise product literature, catalogs, technical bulletins, etc.
• Attend sales conferences and trade shows as required
• Facilitate exchange of information between Product Engineering, Technical Services and Field Sales management

Requirements Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business discipline with related experience
• Seven to ten years of experience in Technical Sales with related industry (preference Filtration)
• Strong computer skills (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office applications)
• Strong verbal and written communication skill and demonstrated analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving / resolution skills and a Team focus
• Travel requirement 30-50%
