Description CLARCOR Air Filtration Products, (a PARKER Company), is one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of air filtration products for the commercial, industrial and institutional markets. Our company is growing and we are seeking a shipping clerk for our second and third shift for our manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, IN.


This role works closely with the shipping supervisor to coordinate shipments, maintain efficient, accurate, quality assured delivery to the customer. Supports the team in operating safely, avoiding waste and contributes to continuous improvement success.


• Perform shipping transaction in Syteline/ERP system
• Prepare Bills of Lading
• Print pick lists for all orders to ship
• Route orders from a routing guide, soliciting the assistance of the traffic department where needed
• Communicate with Customer Service to ensure customer requests are addressed within 4 business hours
• Leads / coordinates department activity when supervisor is away
• Print labels
• FED Ex, UPS, & RPS shipments
• Communicate with freight companies
• Process Export paperwork (Canada) when CSR are not available.
• Coordinate intercompany direct ship orders
• Assist shipping personnel (order pickers) with inventory availability and location
• Log and file forklift paperwork
• Maintain the evacuation list
• Help to pull orders when required


• High school diploma and/or some secondary education
• Demonstrates a passion for safety
• Ability to work independently and within a team equally
• Demonstrates the ability to work with and motivate a team
• Be able to communicate concern, issues and work duties effectively
• Has basic math and writing skills
• Experience working in a fast pace warehouse environment / manufacturing plant
• Previous Shipping / Receiving /Material Handling experience (preferred)
• Detail oriented and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to provide timely responses to multiple parties including but not limited to Customer Service, Billing Clerk, Material Handlers and superiors
• Ability to cycle count inventory and enter transactions accurately
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to a changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities with help from management


• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience working with an ERP system


• Standard Safety Training

• UPS & RPS Systems
• Policies and Procedures
• Two to four weeks on the job training


• Standard office equipment
• Hand Pallet Jacks
• General office equipment (i.e. computer, calculator, printer, etc.)
• Tape Measure
