Position Summary:

Working remotely from a home office, the Educational Consultant, GradPoint Training & Support serves the Academic Training and Support Services Team by providing exceptional training, support, and customer service to GradPoint customers, who include school- and district-based teachers, administrators, and instructional-technology staff. [GradPoint is an online and blended learning platform that delivers rigorous standards-based curriculum, assessments, student data, and reports that provides teachers and students with ownership over their education]. Working closely with other GradPoint Educational Consultants, it is essential that the Education Consultant provide clear, consistent, professional, and complete verbal and written communications to inform GradPoint customers. Verbal communication includes telephone discussions with the GradPoint customer prior to and following training delivery as well as on-site training delivery. Written communications include introductory and follow-up emails and training resources (e.g., guides, activities, etc.).  The Educational Consultant works collaboratively with members of the Sales team, other Educational Consultants, and customers to enhance the educational experience and learning of students.



  • Responsible for planning and managing activities associated with the implementation of GradPoint to optimize customer satisfaction and student learning.
  • Provides GradPoint implementation planning, training, and consulting services to assigned customers.
  •  Conduct onsite and remote, standard and customized workshops as needed by the customer.
  • Assist other consultants as needed.
  • Guide customer use of GradPoint through relationship and account management to provide solutions that maximize the benefits for the customer and their students.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales team and schools/school districts to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
  • Assist the Sales team with sales support activities including, but not limited to: presentations, seminars, conventions, demonstrations and tours.
  • Coordinate the resolution of user and support issues to help facilitate customer satisfaction and productivity.
  • Participate in special projects and committees as assigned by manager.

The following equipment is expected to be provided by you, as the employee, while working at home, as your department’s work-at-home policy allows:

  • 2nd Monitor – Highly Preferred
  • Keyboard – Highly Preferred
  • Mouse – Highly Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education a plus.
  • Minimum of three years teaching experience in grades K-12 required; 9-12 preferred.
  • Previous experience with GradPoint highly desired.
  • Knowledge and experience integrating instructional technology in the classroom or in a training/consulting capacity required
  • Must be able to deliver training that is high quality, professional, and engaging that meets the customer’s needs.
  • Previous experience with remote training a plus.
  • Prior experience teaching adults a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to investigate an issue until it is resolved and understood.
  • Approachable and helpful attitude in customer service and support.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with a high degree of flexibility with a commitment to a group-oriented approach.
  • Ability to respond to change, balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and apply effective time-management skills to support customer communication needs.
  • Technologically proficient (especially with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external customers leading to high levels of customer satisfaction and student learning.
  • Well organized and structured, with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight, to meet the expectations of the job as determined by manager (approximately 75%).
