Position Summary:

While working in our Baltimore office and within the Curriculum Production Team, the Digital Asset Associate works as an integral part of the Digital Asset team to maintain, vet and support current and potential new digital assets used throughout the Connections Education product. This includes but is not limited to reporting on, evaluating and updating digital asset issues and functionality.

Responsibilities:

The Digital Asset Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Vet digital assets for cost, accessibility, compatibility with and ease of use on digital platforms, permission, and multi- and single user access
  • Create and maintain schedule of assets in-process, implemented, retired and rejected and provide periodic reports to varied corporate groups on those asset
  • Participate in the annual development of the course portfolio for CE schools and programs by creating courses and maintaining the digital infrastructure of courses
  • Assist with ensuring that required resources not provided by Connection Education are associated properly to courses
  • Assist with facilitating the acquisition, delivery, tracking and confirmation of digital assets for integration into the curriculum product line
  • Supporting the Digital Asset and Permissions team through the tracking, acquisition, maintenance and review of new and existing external assets and products
  • Support the execution of the sourcing strategy, working closely with digital asset stakeholders including curriculum, supply chain, development, and Pearson point of contact. 
  • Support the maintenance of intellectual property and protection of CE proprietary curriculum assets through registration with the US Copyright Office and other tasks as appropriate
  • Support an array of project plans by executing tasks determined by project schedule
  • Work in a variety of applications including Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, FTPs
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong and demonstrated working knowledge with design files/software, authentication methods/procedures and content delivery preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to interact well with a variety of corporate functional disciplines including senior management
  • Experience developing, implementing and managing projects/programs
  • Experience using MS Office Suite and Adobe PDF; experience with HTML is a plus
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Strong process design, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex organization with varied and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic and ability to promote positive work atmosphere

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge in Microsoft applications, including MS Word and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Educational Management Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems strongly desired
  • Comprehensive understanding of new and emerging technologies
