||Production Graphic Designer (Independent Contractor)
Are you a fresh, creative production graphic designer ready to roll up your sleeves and get started?
You enjoy manipulating images in Photoshop and have a knack for drawing in Illustrator. You can execute layouts quickly and accurately following
company design standards. You have the ability to deliver high quality as well as high volume work.

In this role, you'll handle a high volume of image requests to isolate and resize provided imagery for multiple sizes on various screens. You will
create vector graphics that meet company design standards. You will be responsible for building files in Photoshop and Illustrator, preparing them for programmers, and general production art duties. You must be a proactive self-starter with a keen understanding
of visual design and growing technical experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat. You will work closely with Creative Teams & Project Managers.

thousands of students learn and excel. Our team of graphic designers works on a wide variety of educational projects – from short multimedia presentations to complex customized instructional apps. We produce work supporting all subjects – science, art, math,
social studies, language arts, and more. You’ll also work with the training team as it builds and supports training for our schools as well as our Connexus® learning management system. You might also join the audio / video team supporting our company’s integrated

**We estimate our project to last approximately two to three months, but cannot exceed 1,000 hours total worked. Candidates
must be available to work full-time, start immediately and maintain a flexible schedule.
For your application to be considered, you absolutely, positively must have:
1-3 years of experience working with Adobe CS6 or higher products, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
A link to your online portfolio included in your resume
A natural eye for multimedia design: layout, style, color selection, motion, graphics, audio, the whole nine yards
The ability to work in InDesign or Word to create fillable and accessible PDFs
Follow established styles and guidelines to ensure corporate branding is consistent
An excellent attention to detail – file size optimization, spelling & grammar, pixel-perfect positioning
Willing and able to execute production work for photo retouching, isolations,
laying out pages, drawing and
redrawing logos, correcting text and doing other rudimentary task quickly and neatly
Work closely with fellow graphic designers, creative manager and production managers to ensure files are properly transferred to production following
all the standards
Comfortable having your work critiqued by a group of peers and able to integrate feedback into your designs
Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet hard deadlines
The following, while not strictly necessary, will put you ahead:
Multimedia/interactive experience desired so that you understand how to create images/art that will be used in a digital environment
