||Crain's New York Business
Crain’s New York Business is looking for a temporary copy editor to ensure that the weekly print publication and our daily online articles meet the highest editorial standards.
For this part-time, temporary role, you will need:
- Three years of full-time copyediting experience in a deadline-driven environment
- B.A. in journalism or English
- Exceptional skills with grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax and vocabulary
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluency with AP style
- Experience working at a daily or weekly news organization—strongly preferred
- An understanding of New York City, its neighborhoods and its key figures—also essential
- Position is part-time, 28 hours/week on average, working in our Midtown Manhattan office.
- Position is in-house; no remote work is allowed.
