Eliot’s Adult Mental Health Division provides an integrated and comprehensive network of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities that promote consumer rights, responsibilities, rehabilitation, and recovery. We provide rehabilitative services that enable people to increase functioning in the living, working, and social environments of their choice.

Responsibilities'

Provide information, support and training on recovery tools and techniques, self management strategies and self management plan, as desired.

Assist consumers in becoming fully integrated into their communities. Provide help and mentoring including advocacy and direct assistance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

At least two years of paid or volunteer experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and a high school diploma/GED equivalent. May substitute one year of experience with a college degree in the human services field. Must be either receiving mental health services or received services in the past and have self-knowledge to manage their mental illness with and established recovery process, and have skills to establish supportive relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respect for their preferences for treatment. Must have ability to provide flexible services that are community based and focused on team work.
