Eliot’s Adult Mental Health Division provides an integrated and comprehensive network of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities that promote consumer
rights, responsibilities, rehabilitation, and recovery. We provide rehabilitative services that enable people to increase functioning in the living, working, and social environments of their choice.
Join a committed team of professionals in providing counseling and recovery services to adults
with severe and persistent mental illnesses in our CBFS outreach program located in the Lynn area.
Empower consumers to exercise autonomy in all aspects of their life. Assist consumers with identifying choices and developing skills in self advocacy.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that the consumer’s perspective is always included, that preferences are recognized and that consumer choices are maximized.
Provide training and consultation to staff to facilitate the understanding of consumer perspectives as needed.
Provide guidance to consumers in recovery process.
Provide advocacy, support, and education during intake and transition processes across the spectrum of services and transition to independence. Assist consumers with being
able to identify personal methods of recovery from mental illness and to develop self management plans to address their experiences.
Promote hope and empowerment through meetings and support with consumers. Collaborate with the team to ensure that the consumer’s perspective is always included, that preferences
are recognized and that consumer choices are maximized.
Participate in the development of IAP’s (Individualized Action Plans). Assist the consumer and the team in developing consumer centered plans. Assist and encourage consumers
to participate in developing the treatment plan by assisting consumers in communicating their personal recovery goals.
Provide information and training on recovery tools and techniques, self-management strategies, and, if desired, assistance developing a self-management plan.
Assist consumers in being fully integrated in their communities by supporting them in the use of community resources, encouraging them in establishing memberships within their
communities, and reducing stigma within the community through education.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5 pm
Pay rate: $14.90/hour
