Our team of dedicated professionals works closely with each child and their families to address their emotional and behavioral challenges. We actively involve parents, family members, caregivers, schools, and other supports in a holistic, strengths based, trauma informed therapeutic approach.

Eliot is currently seeking a clinical supervisor for the Healthy Family Program in our Jamaica Plain Office.



Supervise assigned Home Visitors, Family Advocates and Father’s Advocates.

Serve as case team coordinator for assigned families.

Coordinate all Healthy Families home visiting services to assigned families.

With parents and staff, oversee coordination of assessment and development and implementation of appropriate service plan, utilizing appropriate community resources. 

Research, organize and lead parent support and education groups. 

Schedule and facilitate staff group supervision meeting. 

Complete performance evaluations for assigned staff. 

Develop effective relationships with staff and clients through utilization of interviewing skills, education, role modeling, and the provision of supportive, concrete services. 

Model provision of counseling to parents and their families to help parents improve their care for their children, physically and emotionally; help parents develop positive interpersonal relationships. 

Assist families in obtaining necessary community services to facilitate children’s growth and development and improve family functioning. 

Ensure maintenance of case records, documentation and other paperwork in accordance with Agency and Children’s Trust standards.

Schedule: Full-time

Annual Salary Range: $45,000-50,000 dependent upon degree and licensure


 MSW or graduate degree in related discipline and at least three years experience
working in a prevention model with families with young children from various socioeconomic
backgrounds. At least one year supervisory experience and community coordination experience.
Licensed or license-eligible preferred. Good listening skills. Nonjudgmental ability to foster
self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills. Familiarity with support
groups or parent education groups. Ability to establish trusting relationships through
compassion, empathy and insight. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse
cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and
related software applications. Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and
credentialing requirements. Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and
from work and for providing services in the community. Must have reliable telephone
notification system for emergency contact.
