Title Manager, Revenue Cycle

Description Oversees the initiatives of the Hospital Revenue Cycle to improve net revenues, reduce receivables, and improve compliance in support of organization goals. Ensures billing practices are consistent with internal policies and external requirements of payors. Identifies and analyzes revenue cycle trends and make appropriate recommendations to leadership. Implements improvements in Registration, Central Scheduling, Professional Billing, and Patient Financial Services. Maintains current working knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding the revenue cycle. Oversees projects related to revenue opportunities, management of charge master maintenance, pricing strategy, and patient estimates. Provides status of organization’s billing/claims collection performance to leadership. Informs leadership of any significant issues and monitors progress to resolution. Provides strategic direction and leadership for multiple departments and support functions. Serves as the subject matter expert for Payer Relations and Contract Administration. Responsible for analysis and reporting, business systems oversight, and the management of Extended Business Office (EBO) and collection agency processes.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration; A minimum of four years of experience in Hospital Revenue Cycle; Ability to provide leadership, mentor staff, and delegate effectively; Knowledge of healthcare trends and CMS regulations; Experience in all aspects of revenue cycle; A broad understanding of healthcare operations, key cost, and revenue drivers; Proficient skills in PC-based Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access functions.
