Position Summary: With a 40-year legacy in the healthcare services market, AQuity was formed through the recent transaction with 3M & M*Modal. AQuity is a market leading healthcare services provider, consistently recognized as a market leader including as #1 in KLAS and #1 in Black Book.

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for new business acquisition and expansion / retention of current clients within the assigned territory. It is expected that the AE will use their existing relationships / rolodex of contacts, in addition to any net new prospecting efforts to meet or exceed the annual sales quota. Additional responsibilities include analyzing business processes, researching and proposing best-in-class improvement initiatives, and leading prospect through selected change initiatives. The AE should be a seasoned change agent with an entrepreneurial spirit who is independent minded yet sensitive to the subtleties of organizational behavior and respectful of individual perspectives. The AE will function as a subject matter expert on business process design and valuation.

Ideal candidate:

  • Must have executive presence and aggressive approach to account identification and penetration
  • Be able to effectively demonstrate and communicate the Valid Business Reasons, i.e., leveraging presentation while partnering with AQuity providing the customer the best return on their investment
  • Should have C-Level sales experience with an established rolodex of C-Level contacts and proven relationship builder
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and able to establish and meet aggressive deadlines

Essential Functions:

  • Must meet or exceed annual new sales goal
  • Build relationships externally and internally - Retain assigned clients
  • Maintain a pipeline that is 4X quota
  • Forecast opportunities accurately according to the AQuity sales process
  • Use daily to manage contacts, activities and opportunities
  • Participate in professional and industry associations such as HFMA, HIMSS and AHIMA
  • Remain current and expert regarding industry trends
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in change management, organizational design, process engineering and benchmarking
  • Advance the core ideologies of being metric driven and approaching problems using structured improvement methodologies
  • Speak at industry forums and participate in sales campaigns as directed


  • 3-5+ years of healthcare sales experience with a successful track record of achieving new business development goals.
  • 1-3+ years of experience selling services solutions in a healthcare environment.
  • Experienced in development and managing large projects
  • Skilled in statistical measurement principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • MBA desired
  • Up to 80% travel
