GID Investment Advisers, LLC is a privately held, globally diversified, and fully integrated real estate organization founded in 1960 that employs over 600 real estate professionals in multiple offices throughout the United States. During its 55 year history the company has acquired or developed over 60,000 residential units and in excess of 15 million square feet of commercial space. As of March 31, 2016, GID controls a real estate portfolio consisting of 72 properties totaling 20,000+ residential units. In addition, GID has 20 multifamily properties under development in eight states consisting of 6,450 residential units.

GID is involved in a variety of asset classes and real estate disciplines, and pursues opportunities both nationally and internationally. The company is engaged in all aspects of real estate investment, ownership, and operation and has divisions that specialize in development, acquisitions, real estate investment funds and separate accounts, international real estate investing, real estate hedge funds, property management, portfolio and asset management, and advisory services.

This person is responsible for assisting the Executive Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions and the various Vice Presidents and Associates in the preparation of detailed economic analyses of potential multifamily acquisitions.  The Acquisitions Analyst will have 1 to 4 years of transaction related experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Create and prepare computer models for potential acquisition targets utilizing Excel and Argus.
  2. Research and analyze numerous markets appropriate for acquisition of multifamily rental properties.Gain intimate knowledge of those markets to be able to capitalize on opportunities in those markets.
  3. Conduct due diligence activities involving lease analysis, shopping market competitors. Arrange third party reports such as market studies and property tax analysis.
  4. Develop in conjunction with the Property Operations Group a zero-based operating and capital budget.
  5. Create and oversee Request for Proposals (RFPs) for third party management of non-core business such as commercial leasing and commercial parking operations.
  6. Participate in various analytical projects required in the Acquisition Department.
  7. Prepare materials and along with the Vice President, present to GID's Investment Committee.
  8. Assist in preparing reports to GID's ownership and institutional investment partners.
  9. Maintain contact and relationships with potential deal sources including brokers, owners, and developers.


Four-year college or university degree required with two to four years related work experience and/or training desired, but not required.Fluency in and ability to, not only maintain, but to create Excel financial models and spreadsheets are essential. Expert proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required. Some Macro/VBA, OutlookSoft report writing and Argus background would be helpful.
